Raffle
All attendees of the Festival are eligible to enter the Grand Prize Raffle for over $1500 worth of orchid plants, crafts and supplies.*
Time of Raffle: Sunday at 6 p.m.
Bench Judged Show
Individual entries of flowering orchid plants are eligible for judging by American Orchid Society judges. In addition to ribbons for best in class, all entered plants will be evaluated for prestigious AOS quality awards.
Orchid Exhibits
The 100-foot orchid society exhibit judged first place ribbon by AOS judges will be awarded $600 cash. Second place ribbon will receive $400 cash. Third place ribbon will receive $200 cash.
Grand and Reserve Champion
The flowering plant judged best in show by AOS judges will be designated Grand Champion and be awarded $300 cash. The runner-up will be designated Reserve Champion and will receive $200 cash.
Rules
Plants for competition must be registered between 12 noon and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Fuchs Pavilion, Fair Expo Center, 10901 SW 24th St, Miami, FL 33165. Plants must remain on display until 6 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2025.
Start grooming your entry now so it will look its best for the American Orchid Society judges who will decide the winners and also present AOS awards.
The public is encouraged to compete. All plants in the show are eligible for ribbons, AOS awards and Champion prizes.
*A completed admission ticket is the entry form. No purchase necessary. The drawing is held Sunday evening at the Festival grounds. The winner will be announced via public address system, and, if not present, called and emailed via the information provided on their ticket. Only
fully completed, legible tickets are eligible. All e-ticket purchasers are automatically entered into a raffle as well.
