A: Admission is $10 for adults for a single day ticket, or $16 for a two day ticket. Two day tickets can only be purchased in advance, they are not sold at the door. Q: Who puts on the Orchid Festival?

A: The Orchid Festival is the brain child of Martin Motes and Warren Kelly. Motes Orchids hosts the event, supported by local orchid societies. The AOS provides volunteers and Richard Fulford, a distinguished AOS judge, is Chair of Judging, and assists in the smooth operation of the show. Fifty national and international orchid growers join us to display their plants and sell to the general public.

Call 305/271-4848 and ask for the “Orchid Show” rate. The Fair Expo can also provide parking for recreational vehicles for only $50 per night. Q: I want to take plants to another country. Will USDA be on site to provide CITES documents?

A: Yes. USDA will be on site on Saturday. Motes Orchids and other growers will have CITES documentation available for a modest fee.

Q: I love animals. Can I bring them to the Festival?

A: No. We love animals too, but the County controls the venue and only allows service animals.

Q: I want to get lunch. Can I leave and come back?

A: Yes. Same day re-entry is permitted with a hand stamp. If you want to enter the next day, you need to buy another ticket or buy a two day ticket in advance by clicking here.
